Arabic Studies Linked to Homosexuality, Scholar Claims

BALTIMORE (Disassociated Press) March 14, 2007 – The recent dismissal of 54 Arabic language specialists by the United States Armed Services for violations of the policy of the United States Military forbidding homosexuality may be directly correlated to their study to become Arabic Language Experts, claims Bartholomew J. Sneed, Professor of Linguistic Biology at John Hopkins University.

“The most compelling evidence that suggests a link between the study of Arabic languages and the development of homosexual tendencies so far is probably the dismissal by the military of those 54 Arabic language students because of their homosexuality,” explained Sneed.

According to Sneed, who concedes that there is no specific link to homosexuality and Arabic languages for primary Arabic language speakers, the correlation occurs when adult males attempt to acquire Arabic languages as second languages.

“Of the 54 dismissed, who were of various ethnic origins, only 9 had achieved proficiency in Arabic,” continued Sneed.  ”The rest were still working on their studies.”

According to Sneed, the part of the brain which is developed by the study of Arabic languages as a second language in adults is the same part of the brain in which  many scientists have claimed for years that over-development is correlated to homosexual tendencies.

While Sneed can not currently offer the military a definitive solution to the conundrum, he suggests that the military might consider having Arabic language students “study at the Playboy Mansion, or watch a healthy dose of old ‘Divine’ (the rotund gay star of many of the old John Waters films) movies on breaks during their studies."
