‘Dawg’ Chapman Vying for Fox News Analyst Post, Source Claims

NEW YORK (Disassociated Press) November 8, 2007 – Bounty Hunter and television personality Duane “Dawg” Chapman’s recent publicity for racial slurs left on his son’s answering machine may not be as circumstantial as it seems, according to television analyst Seth Gumbridge.

“The Dawg seems to be taking a page straight out of the Mark Fuhrman playbook,” explained Gumbridge.

Fuhrman, a former LAPD officer who came to notoriety after racial slurs he had recorded came to light during the O.J. Simpson trial for the murders of Simpson’s ex-wife and Ronald Goldman, went on, after a mea culpa tour that included a much ballyhooed appearance on the Oprah Winfrey Show, to become a contributing analyst for the Fox News Network.  It is Gumbridge’s theory that Chapman is also angling for an analyst job at Fox.

Chapman’s first appearance since the incident came on Fox News’s own Hannity & Colmes, during a tearful interview with Sean Hannity.  “That was a probably good first choice,” mused Gumbridge.
