Oopsy, Bozo and Ronald McDonald Join Chorus of Kramer Critics

NEW YORK (Disassociated Press) March 26, 2009 – Financial journalists Oopsy, Bozo and Ronald McDonald are adding to the line of press people who are chiming criticisms against the cable and satellite financial news network CNBC, and especially Jim Kramer, long time CNBC on air personality and host of Mad Money, for a failure to predict the current economic crisis.  Earlier this month, Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central's The Daily Show was engaged in a highly publicized dialogue with Kramer based on that assumption, which included a heated face to face discussion during an appearance by Kramer as Stewart's guest.

"CNBC in general, and Kramer specifically, need to be held accountable for this situation," stated Ooopsy.  "The goings on that has lead us to this point have been happening for years, and during all that time, Kramer's just been there on the television, acting like a clown," added Bozo.

Ronald McDonald's criticisms were somewhat more  meted.  "It's true, CNBC and Kramer have missed the boat to a certain degree," the spokesperson for McDonald's, whose stock is a component in the Dow Jones 30 Industrials index.  "But at least they're accurately reporting at the strength our business is showing during this period."
