Pound Dog Spurned by President Obama Killed

WASHINGTON (Disassociated Press) April 15, 2009 – Skippy, the one year old hypo-allergenic dog of mixed breed, that was slated to have been the nation's "First Dog," after its adoption by the President and the First Family, was unceremoniously put down this morning in an indistinct District of Columbia shelter, as a result of the President having selected instead a Portuguese Water Dog, a gift to the First Family of Democratic Senator Edward M. Kennedy of Massachusetts.

"Skippy was an adorable, sweet dog, and now, because of the deceitful policies of Democrats like President Obama and Senator Kennedy, Skippy is dead," Sean Hannity stated on his national radio program.  President Obama had stated that the family's plan was to rescue a shelter dog to be the White House pet.

"This is another example of why Obama and liberals can never be trusted," claimed Rush Limbaugh.

Author Mark Levin, primarily known for his book Rescuing Sprite: A Dog Lover's Story of Joy and Anguish, added, "I have never been so outraged and disgusted in my life - to think that a poor, innocent mutt from the streets of Washington, D.C. had to give up its life, just so a Kennedy could back into the White House."
